Today on Untapd’s “Ask Me Anything”…
Pierce Asks: “What do you think happens when you die? What do you think is beyond the universe?”
To start off, I’d like to say thank you, Pierce, for your question. Before I begin to give you my response, I would like to make sure a few things are clear. I do adhere strongly to faith, however, I have my own set of morals that I abide by. I am very flexible, I don’t believe religion defines anyone. I think there is good and bad in people from all walks of life, and it is our responsibility to take the good.
Moving on to your first question; I believe that when we die, we go to either hell or heaven. However, I don’t believe heaven has pearly white gates, or that hell is a boiling pot of lava. I take as more of an emotional state. I believe that depending on our deeds and intentions, we either die with peace of mind, or a certain sensation of recklessness (which would be hell).
I don’t like to think of things to an extreme. I take things one step at a time, for me, this whole meaning of death is just a natural part of life, it’s science. I am a believer in science, I also believe that human’s have souls. After we die, I believe our souls live on. I believe that heaven, and hell are emotional states that our souls are left with after death. For every person, death would be a different meaning and experience, as is life.
Now for your second question; I don’t know what is beyond the universe. However, it is interesting to ponder, it can leave me with a feeling of greatness, and at other times it can leave me feeling so insignificant. I think that’s the beauty of it, humans need to feel both to stay grounded. I don’t consume myself thinking of what is, and what isn’t. I will admit, that I do think there is more beyond the universe. I am not sure how I feel about the stereotypical alien, but I do think there is alot more to be discovered out there.
What are your thoughts/ opinions?
Hope this helps, and thanks once again!
PS. Keep the questions coming folks, you can comment on anything from my “Ask Me Anything” entries to leave me a question / feed back.

Thanx a bunch. That was very interesting to know.
Some time we sould most definatly have a distinguished chat about the universe, and death and quite a few more of the mysteries of the universe. One of those chats that last longer than 20 minutes you know? The things that don’t really have a simple answer to them.
*distinguished =swell*
i meant to write swell but the word distinguished came out (lousy keyboard).
